The Norwegian Police Immigration Services receives global award for best case management system

On Wednesday 18th June, the Norwegian Police Immigration Services and the Case Management System UTSYS received the international prestige award "Global Awards for Excellence in Adaptive Case Management".

UTSYS covers work processes at the Norwegian Police Immigration Services and is used in connection with the registration of asylum seekers, immigration detention and deportation. As this year's winner of the "Global Awards for Excellence in Adaptive Case Management", UTSYS is considered as the best Case Management System in the world in its category.

– We think it's great to win this award. Development of new and modern tools like UTSYS make us able to work smarter and more efficiently, says leader of the Norwegian Police Immigration Services , Kristin Kvigne. She adds that good Case Management Systems also makes the organization better equipped to meet the needs attached to future crime.
 
UTSYS gives the Norwegian Police Immigration Services an overview of immigration matters within their areas of responsibility, with emphasis on the implementation of case management within given deadlines and priorities. The solution is developed by Computas, in close cooperation with The Norwegian Police Immigratjon Services, The Norwegian Police Directorate, The Norwegian Police ICT services and the Norwegian Directorate of Immigration.
 
The Global Awards for Excellence in Adaptive Case Management are awarded by the Workflow Management Coalition (WFMC), a global organization that includes developers, consultants, analysts, universities and research groups.
