Computas markerer seg innen Integrerte Operasjoner

Som en del av sin satsing innen Integrerte Operasjoner i olje & gass-industrien har Computas initiert samarbeidsprosjektet CODIO (Collaborative Decisionmaking in Integrated Operations), der oljeindustri og forskningsmiljøer utvikler ny teknologi for raskere og bedre beslutninger

22. april presenteres CODIO-prosjektet på Norsk Petroleumsforenings årlige konferanse "Intelligent fields and integrated operations" i Stavanger. Foredragsholder er prosjektleder for CODIO, Roar Fjellheim fra Computas.

The CODIO project demonstrates how future field operations will be optimized by the introduction of smart online decision support tools. The project develops a new model for decision making in the drilling process, based on advanced decision theory combined with real-time situation assessment and collaborative ICT-supported work processes. Decision support in CODIO exploits recent advances in Bayesian techniques, adapted to dynamic and real-time decision situations. The system will be tested at the Onshore Drilling Center operated by ConocoPhillips Norge AS.
